It's Sunday evening, which means the gates of KIY'S KINGDOM are unlocked. This week I'm introducing life lately posts. About every three months, in between the routinely scheduled blog content, I plan to update you on the episodes of my daily life. Connecting with you kings & queens through my personal experiences & interests will be my way of demonstrating that I'm not just preaching- I'm taking my own advice. God's favor & the universe's protection has been so present in my life throughout September, October, & the first half of November.

Daily Life: Family Days, Being a TT, & Growth

This autumn, I've certainly spent an abundance of time inside & surrounded by my family. Although weekly family days at my mom's consist of laughter, positive vibrations, and top notch meals year round; our fall dinners genuinely reach a different level of comfort. I'm immensely thankful for these days, my tiny tribe, & to have a momma who's a PRO in the kitchen!

Needless to say, being a TT is an essential aspect of my day to day life. My babies are visibly evolving & acquiring new knowledge everyday. Ayden Jeremiah is his usual hyper self. He's been particularly feisty lately- yet we always end up at the root question "TT are you my bestfriend?" (the answer is & forever will be yes). Averie Juliet & Avarae Josie are both transitioning into genius, spirited toddlers. They absolutely adore reading books, dancing, & playtime with TT. About a week ago, I was experiencing one of the most emotional days I've had this season. All it took to cheer me up was quality playtime after work with Ayden & the girls in my room. One thing's for sure, the bond I have with my nephew & nieces is treasured. I cherish my days as a live-in auntie as much as possible because I know these are temporary, yet valuable memories.

Aligning myself & cleansing my chakras has remained a priority- I've learned plenty about myself & my habits through studying & journaling. Blogging has manifestly become a key component of my life this autumn. I launched KIY'S KINGDOM at the beginning of September & I'm appreciative of the kingdom's initial impact thus far. The content I have planned for the future months is truly causing me to feel inspired, motivated, & empowered. Wanna know what else has triggered these powerful emotions? The results of the 2020 election! I've always been somewhat of a politic girl, so naturally I was delighted to vote in a presidential election for the first time- I even managed to piss a few people off in my feminist hoodie, yay!

Work:

Back in August, I made the decision to accept a new job opportunity. The transition has overall been a blessing, eye-opening, yet still a blessing. I'm grateful that I have the chance to work in a professional setting with my sister & I'm content with my schedule. Although I've worked here for a short period, I was recently presented with the offer of a higher position (which came with an adorable purple office, right next to my sister's). Personally, I feel as if I'm mastering my new responsibilities rapidly & I don't mind the work at all. Nonetheless, there's the occasional bullshit, messy, or shiesty behavior you may experience in any workplace. I simply remind myself that the universe will take care of all. My priority is securing my check while taking advantage of the opportunities granted to me.

Music & TV:

If you know me, you know I've been a reality tv stan since I was about six years old. A new favorite of mine is Big Brother & I highly recommend it to all you masterminds out there! I've even gotten my mom hooked on it (we binge watch the show together at least once a week). As I mentioned, aligning myself has been vital to me. Since I'm watching loads of Big Brother daily - a show full of deception & manipulation - I've tried to balance the vibes with my music choices. Every morning & night, Goapele x Closer has cleansed my aura & help reset my tone. My manifestation playlist is full of gems that I would absolutely love to share with you kings & queens one day. Without a doubt, Ariana Grande is a jewel & the majority of her music speaks to me. Her new album, Positions, has blessed me with so many feel-good, confidence building jams: my hair, motive, obvious, & west side are just a few.

As I elevate, I appreciate how well life is constantly treating me. By no means are things perfect & I'm aware they won't ever be. All I can do in this crazy lifetime is maintain my sense of security & know I am on the path destined for me. Each season of my life leaves me filled with gratitude & this magical period has brought my dynasty, KIY'S KINGDOM, to life. This has so far been a productive, cleansing, & peaceful fall. I plan to conquer the remainder of the autumn & properly welcome the energy of winter. I hope you're all preparing new projects for the hibernation months!

i'll update you kings & queens with another life lately post in february,

KIY
